I’m sorry about the lack of action from me but with football taking a break and the crazy weather it seemed to make sense to me. I don’t know why Ron bothers when it’s like this outside and it seemed like a good time to go on holiday to me.
The league this year is rubbish as far as I’m concerned and Ron mentioned something I told him about Everton being only 4 points off a European spot with a minus goal difference. They are also only 12 points off the bottom 3. Burnley are on -9 goal difference but only 6 points off 5th spot.
Everton and Burnley have been poor this season and yet, could get a Europa spot.
The league was over by Christmas and take Liverpool out of it and the rest are not up to much at all. Even City have slipped a lot this season and Leicester, who have only won 1 of their last 5, are 9 points clear of Chelsea in 4th, who have also only won 1 of their last 5 as well.
It is rubbish.
BURNLEY V BOURNEMOUTH
Burnley are on a roll of a kind right now with 10 points from their last 4 games and they are a better side than Bournemouth.
There have been 7 Premier league meetings between these 2 teams and Burnley have won 5. They have also won the last 3.
In fact, in all competitions that they’ve played each other, Bournemouth have only won 2 of the 13 games.
When they get on the bus to travel to a game, Bournemouth are hopeless. They have lost 7 of their last 8 on the road and the last 4 on the bounce and cannot defend to save their lives. Just 1 clean sheet in 15.
If Burnley don’t get beaten today then that’s their best run of the season and I think they’ll win this one. They beat Bournemouth 1-0 at their place in December and I’ll bet they win to nil again today
