The Redcar and Yarmouth “Movers”

Brilliant results produced all round yesterday and I was definitely right when I said we could find diamonds in the dirt. I’m anticipating finding more today, too. I am definitely loving the fact that my lone rated race is now showing my top rated “moving” and my third best in that race, who was a big double figure price this morning, as also attracting plenty of support.

I’ll start by going through the Redcar card.

1-15 – The market is only interested in two runners here, VICTORY HEIGHTS and BILLIAN. The latter was advised earlier, to my Post Racing subscribed membership, as having been supported from an opening 11/2 > 7/4. It is now 15/8, as support comes for VICTORY HEIGHTS, 9/4 > 6/4.

A dutch looks the way to make a profit from this race.

AIR TO AIR was the OMM I mentioned to my subscribed members earlier today, 5/2 > 6/4. I hope they took that price because the best you can get now is 5/6.

In the Apprentice Handicap at 2-20pm, it’s all ZAP….6/1 > 3/1….and nothing is being backed to beat it.

My lone rated race of the day next and three are being punted. My top rated, TURNTABLE, is 7/1 > 7/2, CLUB WEXFORD, 16/1 > 15/2 but it’s the move for my bottom rated 3-y-o, the only one of that age group in this race, LEXINGTON FORCE….5/1 > 11/4F….that is really catching my eye.

Horse of this age group are impossible to produce an accurate figure for, especially off the back of just two previous racecourse appearances and so you have to trust the market when they crash in price as this has.

It could be that attempting to work my top three, with that bottom rated 3-y-o favourite, is the way to go.

The market at 3-20pm is undergoing adjustment right now but having said that, their is a punt going on.

NORMANDY BARRIERE is now 9/2f having opened 15/2, and I love this horse. He’s head down from the off and I love his attitude to racing. Not as good as he was but then, this is a Class 5….and just as I was typing that, they pulled him out, too!

A no bet race now then, as the markets will again go into a mini meltdown.

PRAISED is strong at the head of the market, at 3-50pm. Only newcomer GOLDEN LOVE is looking a danger according to the tissue….7/2 > 4/1 > 10/3 and I’d be tempted 20/80 by that one, as opposed to the odds on jolly.

DESERT PALMS opened 10/11 at 4-20pm, but you can have as much 7/4 as you like, now. The stronger horse betting wise is MECCA’S HOT STEPS…15/8 > 6/4.

The gamble we landed on FLASH POINT last week was great but today, they cannot give this horse away at 4-50pm…..11/4 > 6/1….looks like last week as a FLASH POINT flash in the pan!

BEN LILLY is all the rage in this one, 2/1 > E

Nothing catching my eye at 1-00pm and it seems the favourite is expected to win the four runner event at 1-30pm….STAR OF WINS 7/4 > 11/8 and they are leaving the other three alone.

Nothing is fancied at 2-00pm, either.

KINGMANIA is being hammered in the market and has been all morning. The 2-30pm is, apparently, his for the taking. I had advised Post Racing subscribed members that he had opened 11/4, had been backed in to 7/4….best price now is 11/10.

At 3-00pm, the morning favourite, SPIRITED GUEST, has drifted from 9/4 > 10/3 and the mover is SHAMSHON, 12/1 > 8/1. The last time he ran on ground faster than good, he won and it seems the fact the track is now good to firm is drawing punters in.

Two horses are dominating the market at 3-30pm….TAGOVAILA 3/1 > 9/4 and ATLETICO, 7/1 > 10/3….it is the last named looking stronger but a dutch looks wise.

In my morning Newsletter I advised Post Racing subscribed members of the move for GLORIOUS CHARMER, who had been supported from 12/1 > 15/2. The best you can get now is 4/1 favourite. Absolutely nothing else is seeing a penny piece.

Not a great days racing but hopefully that lot sees a profit coming your way.

Best of luck!
