Grindavik home bankers against Vikingur Olafsik?

I look at all games played anywhere in Europe and don’t be shocked if you see me turning up bets from anywhere. I look through the stats bibles in search of something, anything, that make me money from betting on football.

This afternoon these to go head to head in the Icelandic 1 Deild.

This game kicks off at 4-45pm our time and sees the home side looking to keep up their record of scoring in every home game this season. At home they are pretty decent Grindavík have notched nine points from the last five games, home and away. That’s 1.8 points per game average.

Right now the league table looks like this

They are also on a great run of home form, winning their last nine games. They are also eight games straight, unbeaten and I feel we’ll see a few goals, as the last six games involving Grindavik has seen two or more goals netted.

By contrast the away team are not playing well right now and have picked up just seven points from their last five games, and they have also failed to hit the back of the net in two of their last five matches.

These two sides have met seven times before and currently it’s the away team well on top on the head-to head table, winning five and drawing one so you might think the stats there favour Vikingur Olafsik but away from home this season the away side are averaging just 0.89 points per game.

In all games between them a goal has always been scored and I see a 67% chance both sides will score and, a 78% chance there will be over 1.5 goals.

Like Tony and Harp I would prefer you just watch and read for a week or two before testing the water. Potential bets here are

  • HOME WIN @ 1.6
  • OVER 2.5 GOALS 1.48
  • 2-0 @ 10/1
  • 2-1 @ 9.2

All prices on Betfair.

I look forward to posting up much more for you in the coming months.
