Clonmel Tips: Another clean sweep on the cards?

Well folks, what a day we had in Roscommon Monday. Only The Trigger probably had a small bit more weight to lose off his back we would have had three winners, all at nice prices. But the each-way was still a nice touch.

Clonmel tomorrow looks an exciting card, I have some very nice price horses here again. I am aiming for a clean sweep again tomorrow.

The Nap of the Day has to side with In Your Shadow in the 2.45. It is a decent-looking race, with plenty in here with ability off lenient marks, but this one looks the real deal.

Cast your mind back to the last Galway meeting, I was after having tipped Bridge Native at 7-1, The Storyteller at 6-5 and this one broke my heart, beating Crazywork De Vassy for a perfect 3/3.

Although I was ripping my hair out, credit where credit is due. In Your Shadow was impressive. He is going back hurdling here on a very lenient mark.

The rain is pouring down here and the chance of soft ground is almost guaranteed. The softer the better it looks like for In Your Shadow, going by its easy win in Galway last time. Honestly I would be very surprised to see it beaten. And 15-8 is a price you can’t go wrong with.

The next best is going to be Shedding, at 11-4, in the 2.00. It looks a fantastic opportunity.

Personally I am good pals with the jockey on board, Jordan Canavan. Jordan was on board the last day when he came in third at 14-1.

Jordan said that only the two horses in front had more race fitness it was going to bring him another win.

The partnership stays the same, along with that the horse is fitter now. The only reason I am not classing it as my nap, is the fact soft ground may cause some hassle. But I still class it as the best horse in the race and should give it a good go.

The each-way selection will be Stowaway John in the 4.20 at a price of 10-1.

Personally I do not like the chance of the favourite. He was second in my local point-to-point to Geraldo. That horse has not yet lived up to the hype in my opinion.

Also the second to Powerful Ted does show some promise, but it didn’t set the world alight. I would imagine it needs a run to sharpen up its fitness, and even money is way too short to go head over heels about.

This Stowaway John could capitalize on his chance today. A very good third last month puts him right into the picture, more so than Don Diablo. When you look at the form, More Info, Cottie, and even Shewearsitwell ties into the form as an outside source. It looks a great price for an each-way bet.

That’s it for me today. I hope those who follow have a very successful day betting. Make sure to visit my YouTube which will be linked below.
