The rains have been tipping it down and I’m loathe to post anything here today so all I’ll do is point out what I believe are genuine “movers” and not bookmaker/layer adjustments based on non-runners, or their reaction to the change in the going.
1-22 – ONE STYLE was advised an OMM this morn ing to my Post Racing subscribed membership 12/1 > 8/1 and they are still coming for it, now 13/2. Everything aro8nd it is weak, including the other OMM, POBBLES BAY, 25/1 > 12/1, now back out to 16/1
20/80 – ONE STYLE.
2-32 – RAPPER was one of two OMM’s here and whilst ACEY MILAN is holding steady 12/1 > 8/1 it’s RAPPER 20/1 > 10/ > 8/1….still attracting support. A Novice Chase so even if I were playing myself, minimum staking involved!
20/80 – RAPPER
3-07 – SAME CIRCUS….the McCain yard is in fine form right now and since my Newsletter went out this CD winner has moved…10/1 > 6/1. We have seen three non-runners and there have been adjustments but this is more than one of those, this is e.w. money pulling it in.
20/80 – SAME CIRCUS
3-42 – One of my two Rated races from this track today and a flood of money has come for STRONG GLANCE since my morning Newsletter went out. The opening 10/1 has gone, now 9/2 clear favourite but, beware, it’s an Olly Murphy trained horse and they are regularly punted and come up way short.
I’m also seeing money for EARLOFTHECOTSWOLDS, 16/1 > 9/1, and this pair rated 3rd and 4th on my figures so, if you are dutching, then go top four. They are the only runners being punted here.
- SIR IVAN
- MONTE CRISTO
- STRONG GLANCE
20/80 – STRONG GLANCE
1-42 – FAIRWAY FREDDIE was a lovely winner for us a week ago and it appears he is fancied to follow up, 5/2 > 6/4….money also for FLAGRANT DELITIEP, 7/1 > 9/2
They are not letting FINALSHOT get away either, 6/1 > 5/1 and perhaps combo exotics might be worth consideration here?
STRAIGHT WIN – FAIRWAY FREDDY
- FAIRWAY FREDDY
- FLAGRANT DELITIEP
3-27 – I have Rated this race and as I suspected when I’d finalised my work, the odds on top rated is drifting. It is doing that because both wins have come on good to firm and it’s good at best today.
Two horses are being supported against it:
- FRAU GEORGIA – 17/1 > 11/2
- FUBAR – 12/1 > 15/2
The first of that pair is wearing first time cheekpieces today and she looked likely to win for the second time before deciding to go wandering all over the run in at Fontwell.
It’s not a race I’d get stuck into but…
20/80 FRAU GEORGIA
4-02 – The front two on the tissue are extremely weak NAMIB DANCER 8/13 > 10/11 and SECRET POTION 6/5 > 13/8, whilst two of the much bigger priced ones have been attracting plenty of support, GOOD BYE 25/1 > 11/1 and BLISTERING BOB 40/1 > 18/1.
The morning third favourite too is being sniffed around, GETABUCK 16/1 > 10/1
This race has a stink about it and I’d not be suggesting anything other than watching….just thought you might like to know what is happening.
4-37 – My top rated horse here, WORKING CLASS, who had a low rating (-16), is the horse for money, 20/1 > 12/1.
It is a poor race , hence my top rated attracting such a lowly rating but if I were playing I’d just have a very small 20/80 that one.
20/80 – WORKING CLASS
I have rated no races here today as it is low grade and not racing I’d be looking to bet on even if we were in the core season now.
12-55 – ULTERIOR MOTIVES is being nibbled at 14/1 > 8/1.
1-30 – WHOA BLACK BETTY was advised an OMM 11/1 > 9/2 this morning, now 5/1 as money now comes for BITASWEETSYMPHONY 7/1 > 9/2 and LOULOUMILLS 7/1 > 5/1
But I’m also seeing several others being “ticjkled”….CONISTON SPA 22/1 > 10/1, AFRICAN GLORY 25/1 > 16/1, CATLIN 25/1 > 16/1
If you played the OMM, leave it at that!
3-15 – Another Novice Chase and if I had to point to one that looks expected to run a big race at a big price, it would be HAASAB, 20/1 > 10/1
This morning SAO was advised as an OMM 5/1 > 4/1….now 9/2….that would be my play.
20/80 – SAO
4-25 – Post Racing subscribed members were told about one here that was being steamed into. PHANTOM ISLE was 16/1 > 8/1 overnight and is now best priced 5/1.
It could be a Rebecca Menzies last two race double coming to fruition….they have both been punted as if big runs are expected from them.
20/80 – PHANTOM ISLE
Best of luck today!
