What’s moving at Bangor and Chepstow?

The decision not to post my work on here yesterday was made as a result of my only having OMM’s for my subscribed members and it would have been unfair on them, if I had then posted them up for free, on here. The results produced by the work yesterday was simply superb.

12-30 – The favourite on the opening show, WHISKEY LULLABY, is weak, 8/13 > 8/11 with WILD POLLY very much the horse for money, 10/1 > 5/1. Gordon Elliott’s CLASS BISHOP LADY, is fluctuating between 9/4 and 2/1. – WILD POLLY – WON 3/1

1-05 – Dan Skelton’s CADZAND, racing first time following a wind-op, is 11/4 > 2/1, DO YOUR JOB rock steady at 2/1 and Gordon Elliott’s CURLEW HILL has been slightly shortened (not a mover), 7/2 > 11/4, with the Paul Nicholls trained CONFIRMATION BIAS 3/1 > 10/3….also racing first time following a wind operation. – CADZAND – 2ND 9/2

1-40STOP TALKING is the mover here, 14/1 > 6/1. The tissue favourite isn’t weak, BEAT BOX 4/1 > 11/4 but again, not a “mover”. Another Skelton runner racing first time following a wind-op, FRISON COLLONGES, is the current second favourite 9/2 > 7/2 and EMPIRE STEEL is steady third favourite on 4/1. – STOP TALKING – 2ND 22/1 (PAID 7/1+ A PLACE TO BSP)

2-15LEESWOOD LILY is 10/1 > 6/1 overnight and races second time following a wind-op. Another big priced one, CHRISTMAS IN USA, another racing second time following a wind-op….20/1 > 10/1….and is a previous CD winner. This does not qualify as a mover using the criteria I place on these. – LEESWOOD LILY – 2ND 6/1

2-50 – A Conditional jockeys race and three horses of the seven taking part, have been supported overnight:

  • GENERAL BUX – 7/2 > 15/8
  • ASKING FOR ANSWERS – 13/2 > 4/1 – WON 9/4
  • COCKLE BAY – 8/1 > 4/1 – 2ND 15/2

A Dutch would be the play there.

3-25 – Rose Dobbin trains the OMM in the opening race and her PERMISSION GRANTED, wearing a fist time visor, has been the horse for money overnight, 12/1 > 9/1.  – NR (ROSE DOBBIN WON THE RACE WITH HER OTHER RUNNER)

Hopefully the work produced is equally as good.

12-30 – The OMM advised to my Post Racing subscribed membership this morning has drifted….no bad thing as they still tend to run well. I’m now seeing plenty of interest in VOLCANO 4/1 > 11/4 and KAPGA DE LILY 13/2 > 5/1. Likely a dutch that trio will bear fruit.

1-00 – I had nothing to report here earlier but now I’m seeing a big drift of the morning favourite, JEMIMA P 15/8 > 3/1 with the money now coming for FAIR AND DANDY, 16/1 > 9/1. This one is running second time following a wind-op and it looks like they expect to profit from the place portion, if nothing else. The Henry Daly yard is in form, two winners from eight runners in the last 12 days and I’d suggest a 20/80 FAIR AND DANDY.

1-30 – This market had also been dormant overnight but they are now wading in…..MISS AMELIA is 7/2 > 9/4. A previous CD winner and the ground soft, I get it.

One being nibbled at is MEGALADON. The 8/1 has gone, now 6/1 and he’ll find this Class 5 a heck of a lot easier than the Class 3 he contested on debut, when he had no chance. The softer ground will help him, too.

I’d dutch that pair.

2-00 – Not a race that will interest smaller staking players. Nothing is being backed to beat GOOD BOY BOBBY, who is a very strong 4/6.

2-35GUARD YOUR DREAMS is another strong favourite here, 11/8 > E with the rest on the drift. Guess you could use it as a Placepot banker if that bet floats your boat but this is a Novice event, with plenty unexposed.

3-05 – One of my two rated races from this track and I’d be happy to use my figures, with the OMM advised, FRISCO BAY, in a four horse dutch if a profit can be achieved.

3-40 – My second rated race on this card and since my morning Newsletter went out one more horse joins the pair of OMM’s provided for this race.

They are now absolutely smashing into the Bryony Frost ridden THE KNOT IS TIED, 18/1 > 7/1.

EXPLOITEUR continues to shorten and in the morning Newsletter I advised it had been bet from 20/1 > 12/1 overnight….now 9/1.

A three horse dutch with the other OMM advised, who sits in my top six rated, looks safest in what is a very weak race from a Ratings perspective.

4-15 – Money continues to pour on the OMM advised in my morning Newsletter. Having opened 10/1 and shortening to 7/1 overnight, that horse now trades 7/2 and looks very likely to be favourite by off time.

12-50 – The market appears to have this sorted out and the front two on the tissue look strong. If you can play the dutch to create a profit worth taking, go down that route:

  • SIZEABLE SAM – 10/3 > 2/1
  • GRAND MOGUL – 7/2 > 11/4

One of the two OMM’s advised is now weak, ONLY THE BOLD 7/2 > 9/4, now trading 3/1.

1-20 – In Division II of that opening race it is again the front two on the tissue looking most likely to succeed. However, it is most certainly the OMM advised in my morning Newsletter proving by far the strongest and I’d suggest a straight win play that one.

1-50 – The favourite, WAYFINDER, is strong, 11/4 > 2/1 with the Anthony Honeyball trained HIDEAWAY VIC also attracting a lot of interest 6/1 > 4/1. Running first time for 234 days and following a wind-op, it looks like they expect a very big run.

A two horse dutch would be the best advice here.

2-20 – My only Rated race here and again, it’s a poor race if the figures are a guide….which they are.

I reported a huge punt on a horse sitting 14th of the 15 runners, on my figures. If you want the name of that horse you will have to subscribe for the Daily Newsletter and you can do that by clicking here.

2-55 – A very weak Class 5 and this morning’s Post Racing subscribed members Newsletter advised an OMM….KRUJERS GIRL….12/1 > 15/2….now easing slightly, 8/1.

Keep a close eye on that market though, I expect that horse to shorten again and it’s worth a 20/80.

3-25 – I’m only seeing market adjustments here following the withdrawal of DOC PENFRO, who traded third favourite. If I had to point to one that was strong it would be L’AIR DU VENT….running second time for the Tizzards following a wind-op….15/2 > 4/1.

A 20/80.

4-00 – The horse advised the OMM this morning, THE DARLEY LAMA, is now a non-runner, so whilst the market is again in adjustment mode, I’m seeing a pair “moving”….A BOOK OF INTRIGUE – 14/1 > 8/1, COLD SHOULDER – 25/1 > 12/1.

It is not a race I’d be interested in playing personally but I’ll watch to see if they prove worthy.

4-35 – A Conditional Jockey and Amateur Riders Bumper….and it’s STAGE STAR 7/2 > 2/1 they are all over. I’d not have a bet on such a race to save my life but they only want that one horse.

Best of luck!
