Superb results again yesterday, all four rated races producing a profit from the dutch and a terrific 25/1 winner, too. The World Of Sport helped those reading, that had access to my figures, to improve on everything and the best advice I can give anyone is, work with both.
It’s very low grade racing today, which we should expect on a Monday. The fact is though, something has to win those races and I’ll do my best to find them.
12-20 – Everything is drifting against a very strong favourite in MIDNIGHT CALLISTO, 5/6 > 4/6….who is racing for a yard in blinding form over the weekend.
Odds on shots in Novice events don’t interest me but nothing at all is being backed to beat this one.
12-50 – Four non-runners here and the market is suggesting just one of two wins it now, LINELEE KING / BLAME THE GAME….they are inviting you to punt odds on again, another Olly Murphy runner being backed and having had just one winner from his 41 runners in the last 14 days, how could you possibly punt it? I’d suggest a 20/80 BLAME THE GAME, if you must bet this kind of race.
1-20 – A Class 5 Novice and nothing at all is being supported. I’d not be looking to get involved in a race like this….swerve it I say!
1-55 – The Nicky Henderson trained GUNNERY is out and we are down to six. It has not made a blind bit of difference to the market and the only play I’d have here is a top three dutch.
2-30 – The Anthony Honeyball trained AVOIR DE SOINS is 10/1 > 4/1 and INDIAN HARBOUR 14/1 > 8/1.
Honeyball is flying right now. He had six runners over the weekend, won with four, placed with one and with his runner in the first also attracting the players in, the message is clear….they expect the run to continue today.
3-05 – BRAMBLEDOWN has joined CONSTANCIA on the missing list and we have a very lively market now.
- HAREFIELD 5/1 > 7/2 > 4/1 > 9/2 > 4/1
- METEORITE – 13/2 > 7/1 > 13/2 > 6/1 > 5/1
- ST GALLEN – 10/1 > 15/2 > 7/1
- DISTINGO – 16/1 > 12/1 > 10/1 > 8/1
Two of those are in my top three rated and if I were working this race, I’d simply go down that road….top three dutch.
3-40 – Two have come out here. Market adjustments only right now but we have another strong Honeyball favourite in NOCTURNAL MYTH. This one returns off a 541 day absence, racing first time following a wind-op.
It’s Division I of a Class 5 Handicap Hurdle and the only reason you could back this one is because of stable form.
4-10 – A few days ago I had THE DARLEY LAMA up as an OMM and they pulled it out. It runs here and is again being supported 10/3 > 5/2
They are also flirting with THE ROSARY FLYER, 11/2 > 3/1 > 10/3 > 7/2
No support at all for anything else and a dutch looks likely to produce a profit.
12-40 – Only one horse is being supported this morning, LORD APPARELLI – 10/3 > 7/4….yard in great form and with nothing esle being supported, a straight win punt looks a potential play.
1-10 – A Hands and Heels Conditional/Amateur riders event….and moving swiftly on….
1-40 – If you can make a profit acceptable to you by dutching the front three on the tissue, that is definitely the way to go as it’s now 11/1 bar that trio. If you were considering just a 20/80 one of the three, I’d go with FRANCO D’AUNOU….purely and simply because this has been rock solid in the market, whilst the other two, BENSON / A DISTANT PLACE, have been fluctuating.
2-10 – Here one of the front two on the tissue wins this. ACROSS THE LINE 5/4 > 10/11 and GREY FELIX 7/1 > 5/1.
The Paul Nicholls trained SECRET POTION is weak 3/1 > 5/1, hitting all prices in between and nobody biting.
The favourite looks the most likely winner, if the market is the guide.
2-45 – I advised my Post Racing subscribed members of an OMM here and it is still strong. KAUTO THE KING isn’t a weak favourite though and if you could pop a dutch on to turn a profit, why not?
3-20 – Four have come out here and it’s simply a case of the market reforming. Class 5….and the two OMM’s advised to my subscribed members this morning look well worth a small dutch….small being the operative word.
3-55 – Since my morning Newsletter went out they have got right stuck in to MAKSADA 10/1 > 5/1. The favourite is weak, COTTON END 9/4 > 10/3 but the 2nd, 3rd and 4th favourites are steady. The strongest of that trio is LEX ELEVEN 13/2 > 9/2 and if I were to play here I’d dutch MAKSADA/LEX ELEVEN.
4-25 – Looks like they expect SHEARER to score in this Bumper, 9/2 > 3/1. He cost a small fortune (150,000E), and it looks like they want a bit back on debut.
Anything can happen in these races though and I’ll just watch.
Best of luck!
