It’s all a bit Mickey Mouse racing today and you’ll only bet at Plumpton if you need help!

Plumpton passed an 8-00am inspection but let’s be honest, right now every track needs to race and it won’t matter what the ground is like, they take the income achieved from just putting something on. I personally will not be betting there and will concentrate my efforts on Leicester, despite my feelings about the track and it’s patchwork quilt of ground. If I make enough today to enable me to cover a couple of takeaway cappuccino’s tomorrow, I’ll give it a fist pump!

12-30 – A Class 4 Selling Hurdle but we have one moving, FALBERTO 9/4 > 13/8. Sam Thomas has his horse running well right now and with the two either side of it at the head of the tissue weak and drifting, and it being 18/1 bar three, he looks “live”.

1-00 – The morning OMM advised to Post Racing subscribed members has eased slightly but nothing is being backed here. It’s a horrible little race to be honest and I’d just go top three dutch to absolute buttons.

1-30 – The OMM advised this morning is holding it’s price but I’m now seeing money for EPISODE 10/1 > 11/2. A Class 5 Novices’ Chase and they’ll not come much worse but I’d be happy dutching the OMM with EPISODE to buttons and seeing what happens.

2-00 – A two horse race if the tissue is right and we have a move being made for OTTONIAN, 9/2 > 3/1 but my thinking is, it is simply the layers negating the potential CSF dividend because the odds on favourite isn’t weak by any means. One of ISOLATE / OTTONIAN wins this and you can still dutch to make a profit.

2-30 – The market again is simply pointing us in the direction of two horses, SEE THE EAGLE FLY / FLAT WHITE, both being supported whilst the rest drift badly.

Of that pair it is the first named being supported best 5/1 > 11/4f but the dutch looks set to post a profit, if the market has it right.

3-00 – It’s my top rated horse being supported here. This should make for a good watch and I’ll just work with my top three.

3-30 – Several here fluctuating as opposed to being punted and I’m thinking we just watch. SHANTUNG is a rock solid 5/1 racing second time following a wind-op and sporting first time blinkers but she has not won anything since November 2018, and has only won one of her 16 career starts.

Not worth guessing so, leave it be.

They had to pass an inspection to race here today and many are coming out. I’ll not be betting here myself but below you have some thoughts, if you cannot drag yourself away!

12-45 – Post Racing members were advised of two that had been punted like crazy overnight and one of that pair is now second favourite 50/1 > 5/1….hope they got on earlier!

1-20 – Never have been interested in punting three horse races….not changing my mind here, either.

The market think FRANCKY DU BERLAIS 6/4 > 11/10….I don’t care if it wins or loses myself….not a bean going down here.

1-50 – Both meetings provide us with a Seller to ponder today (it is Monday, after all), and the “mover” advised to Post Racing members this morning is still attracting support. Probably as much to do with the fact three have come out as anything else but with it being a seriously poor affair, nobody is going to be getting stuck in here. Still a 20/80 with 10 still going to post.

2-20 – Two have come out so you bin my figures now. Just go 20/80 the OMM and see what occurs.

2-50 – Three out of this Rated race and you’d be binning those figures now and working purely with the OMM.

3-20 – Three out, down to four runners and those trying to see out the three and a half miles on that ground…I salute you. Saluting is all I’ll be doing here though.

3-50 – Only one taken out….so far. It’s all about the OMM but Post Racing members know my thoughts about the jockey’s record here.

Best of luck!
