Spurs v Man City

It is hard trying to work out the result of a game at the moment for many reasons. No crowds, VAR, players going missing because of the virus, loads of injuries to players because they have had no proper breaks.

I should be well into the season by now but I am still worried about all those things mentioned that can stuff up my bets.

All I can do is write down my thinking and cross the lot.

The table is really compressed with just 6 points between top and 11th and both these teams are playing well now. City are not scoring as many goals as usual but they are not letting many in either. They have only scored 10 goals so far this season and at the same stage last year they had scored 27. The 10 scored is the lowest since Mark Hughes was their manager.

When Spurs won this match in February it was the first time they had beaten City in 7 but City have lost just 1 game all season, in all competitions and this is going to be a tight game.

Son likes playing City and at the new ground he has scored in both games against them. Funnily enough, Lloris has saved a pen in bothe those games too.

For whatever reason City are struggling to score goals and also, the last 7 away games to top 6 sides has seen them get beaten, including the last 3.

I really do think it will be a close game but I fancy Spurs to just sneak it.

  • SPURS TO WIN 1-0

Good luck.
