Some very nice results again yesterday and whilst the racing this afternoon is not great, every race contains a winner….we just have to try and find it.
11-45 – Post Racing subscribed members were advised we had a proper steamer here and it is shorter again now. It might only be a Conditional jockeys’ Handicap but a good few are being nibbled at, such as ENFIN PHIL 9/1 > 13/2 and the favourite isn’t weak, either. I’m expecting the winner to come from that pair mentioned, plus the OMM….might be best to dutch.
12-15 – An odds on shot in a Maiden Hurdle and nothing particularly strongly fancied outside the front pair on the tissue. I’m expecting the winner to start with an “F”.
12-50 – A decent Novices’ Handicap Chase and they are sweet on EXELERATOR EXPRESS 3/1 > 7/4.
The early favourite, DOUAROV is weak 5/2 > 4/1 but FUNAMBULE SIVOLA, running first time following a wind-op is being sniffed out 5/1 > 9/2, with TIDAL WATCH 11/2 > 8/1 > 13/2 > 5/1 fluctuating like a thing that fluctuates.
I’ll dutch EXELERATOR EXPRESS, FUNAMBULE SIVOLA and TIDAL WATCH….50% profit if it comes off.
1-20 – A three runner race in which none are attracting support. The tissue favourite, GEORDIE B, is 8/11 > 10/11 and it’s only the outsider of three being nibbled at BORN BY THE SEA 15/2 > 6/1.
I’ll probably not even watch it to be honest.
1-50 – The 1/4 favourite is expected to win this head in chest and try and they might, the layers are tempting nobody by extending the prices of everything else. Just pretend it isn’t happening.
2-25 – My only rated race today and this has to be the craziest market I’ve seen all season so far.
Five are attracting players in, three are being cut free and in my morning Newsletter I advised three OMM’s here, including my top rated. Even SOME REIGN has been clipped back in having been allowed to drift 11/4 > 10/3 > 4/1 > 7/2
Now, I’m seeing plenty of money for yet another, SAINT LEO, 12/1 > 7/1 and my only play here will be a 20/80 my top rated horse.
A race I cannot pin down at all.
3-00 – The front three on the tissue are strong and if playing a dutch three in a Class 5 Bumper, for 20% profit, there you have it:
- FASHION NOVA – 13/8 > E
- LEADING EWE ON – 6/1 > 4/1
- THEDABBER – 6/1 > 5/1
The rest are weak, all drifting.
3-30 – Division II of the Bumper and two are “interesting”….BILLAMS LEGACY 7/2 > 9/4 and BELLA BLUESKY 20/1 > 12/1….the favourite cost £115,000 but isn’t strong….not weak as such, just not a lot of support.
12-05 – The morning OMM is now a little easy to back as support comes for SAM BARTON 10/3 > 9/4 and an outsider has been supported BAY OF INTRIGUE 40/1 > 14/1.
I’m happy dutching SAM BARTON with that OMM, if the profit is worth a dang.
12-40 – A very strong OMM here…looks “proper”.
1-10 – Class 5 Handicap…pants but, they like JENNYS DAY 12/1 > 6/1. One career win to date and that came four years ago, in Ireland. Like I say, Class 5.
1-40 – Another Class 5….it’s Hereford. PRINCESS MIDNIGHT is a strong favourite, and I’m seeing support for KHANISARI 10/1 > 13/2 but if that last race was pants, this is the undergarments.
2-15 – The winner of this is either YOUNG BUCKS / ONCHAN if they stand up. It’s 14/1 bar that pair and this is not one I’m remotely interested in for punting purposes.
2-50 – Post Racing subscribed members were notified of a OMM here and it is still extremely strong.
MISS TYNTE has seen support to e.w. money 28/1 > 12/1 and they won’t let VALSE AU TAILLONS go 5/2 without snapping hands off.
I’m already on the OMM as they have really crashed into it.
3-20 – If I were to bet here the market is advising a dutch ECLAIR DE GUYE, rock solid 7/2 favourite, GARRANE 10/1 > 7/1 and SPECIAL ACCEPTANCE 12/1 > 7/1.
The staking would reflect my reluctance to bet at Hereford….I just do not trust the ground there.
3-50 – A Bumper to conclude it all and having seen an OMM earlier, I’m now seeing WAR CALL 6/1 > 7/2 and most certainly the winner comes from the front three on the tissue, if the players have read their runes correctly.
Best of luck!
