It’s typical Monday dross but every race has a winner in there somewhere!

One of those days when you play to buttons if you do decide to get involved because, in the main, it’s awful racing, on awful ground, but we do know that every race will have a winner.

I have looked for overnight clues, morning clues and produced Ratings for two races, one of which looks rock solid with a top Rated OMM.

If you are not currently subscribed to Post Racing but would like to receive the daily Newsletter, please click here, select your preferred package and I ensure you start receiving that work from tomorrow.

1-10 – The third favourite has been pulled out and what I’m seeing now is plenty of money for UNOHU….13/8 > 5/4….with JELSKI also being heavily supported 10/1 > 6/1. With further rain falling on already heavy ground, I’m thinking that if you do not have the * icon next to a horses name in those Ratings, you will not be winning this race. Indeed, my third highest rated is 10/1 > 22/1 as he is already 0-4 on heavy.

I will be dutching the three highest rated horses wearing that * icon….1, 2 & 5.

1-45 – The now fully expected Conditional Jockeys Handicap on the card and one horse only is attracting punters in….TURTLE WARS 11/4 > 9/4….the winner of just one of its 13 career starts, and that nearly three years ago….quite simply a race I’d not play even if I were going to be home.

3-20 – The Bumper….two being supported, NELLS SON 13/8 > 6/5 and GROZNI 5/1 > 11/4. You can have 50% profit off the dutch….if GEONICE doesn’t spoil the party. I would not bet that doesn’t happen and so it’s swerved.

12-15 – They are only interested in ANNUAL INVICTUS here 8/11 > 4/7….a Novice event, I’d rather have a 20/80 BEMBRIDGE @ 8/1.

12-48 – I’ve no interest at all in three runner Novices’ Chases….very weak favourite in ACEY MILAN 8/13 > 4/5 but nothing being backed either.

1-18 – Down to seven runners with a strong favourite in MOUNTAIN LEOPARD 13/8 > E….a Maiden Hurdle but at least that horse is a previous course winner. Landed a Bumper here in December last year and placed in two others. Looks the most likely winner.

1-53 – GARRANE 9/2 > 11/4 with the other four drifting but you should be aware this horse is already 0-12 over fences and despite some decent form in the placed efforts, I’m always wary of one that seems to like to see one in front of it and this has that track record right now. A not bet race for me personally.

2-23 – Class 5 Handicap Hurdle….the market is currently all about DARKEST DAY 4/1 > 5/2. Much of this is to do with non-runners though….four in total (including the OMM)….although despite this, the front two on the tissue have drifted so this could be a “kosher” punt. Having said that, this is another gamble I’m seeing on a maiden in this sphere….0-8….and it pulled up lame last time out. I could not bring myself to play here.

2-58 – GENTLEMAN’S DREAM is a solid 7/2 second favourite, with two being backed COMMANDANT 8/1 > 5/1 and IMPULSIVE LEADER 16/1 > 13/2. I guess, if you are feeling all frivolous and carefree, you could play a minimal dutch but it’s another Monday afternoon Class 5 wretch of a race and you have more chance of these horses throwing a sickie than you do of them putting in a show.

3-28 – AS PER NEWSLETTER….this OMM is VERY strong.

Best of luck!
