Spurs v Leicester

Told Ron yesterday I might skip it this week because teams are now going to be playing to many games in a very short space of time and I have got a clue who will be playing. I didn’t see Klopp giving Salah half a day off yesterday but he did and, I didn’t see Liverpool winning 7-0 away from home, but they did.

I am going to do this game today because I think Mourinho will want to go into Christmas with a win and I think he will get it.

Leicester have been brilliant on the road this season, the only defeat in 6 coming at Anfield and they have won the other 5. They have been beating sides like Sheff Utd and Leeds though and this will be a different test.

The most interesting facts about this game are the records of the managers. Rodgers has won 6 of the last 7 games against Spurs as a Premier League manager but, when he goes head to head with Mourniho he has never won a game in 7.

Spurs are playing really well at home and have won their last 3 and they have also won 7 of the last 10 on their own turf.

Jamie Vardy loves playing Spurs and in his last 10 games against them has scored 5 goals and set up 3 but 4 of those goals have been at Spurs place. However, Spurs have only lost 1 of the last 9 games at home to Leicester, winning 6 and drawing 2.

Goals have always been scored in this fixture with 31 in the last 7 Premier League games, an average of 4.4 each game. Two things Mourinho has done though is set his defence right and he has got Kane and Son working brilliantly together. They have scored 20 of Spurs 25 goals between them and they also have 12 assists between them as well.

I expect Harry Kane to get at least 1 goal today as he likes playing Leicester and has scored 16 goals in 14 games against them.

Spurs will win this and both side will score goals.

Good luck
