Wincanton and Ffos Las morning movers

Apologies for this going up late today but I’ve had an “issue” to sort out. The company producing my raffle tickets have sent me bingo cards instead??

12-30 – ROSE OF ARCADIA has come in for significant support this morning, 13/8 > 11/10 and everything else on the tissue is drifiting so it would appear someone, somewhere, expects a Tizzard horse to be winning. In the last 14 days he has sent 15 out and not a sausage. Only 25 winners from 278 runners since April and running to a level £1 loss of £124.85

I can afford to miss this one and if I were to advise a play it would be a 20/80 WOULDUBEWELL who looks likely to place at the very least and is also the strongest of the drifters, if you see what I mean.

1-35 – The tissue favourite, NATURAL HISTORY, is very strong 13/8 > E….he was expected to win on debut but bumped into one and it would appear they expect to recoup losses.

2-10 – AS PER NEWSLETTER and we have an exceptionally strong OMM here.

3-20 – A Hunter Chase….the one yesterday was won by a 40/1 shot. Leave these alone.

3-50 – They are all over DIDDLY DO (they do give these poor horses some names, don’t they!), 7/2 > 9/4 and extremely strong. The rest are drifting.

1-25 – The morning on is now double his opening show and they are getting stuck into FRANCO D’ANOU 11/2 > 11/4. The favourite, CHAPAGNESUPEROVER is also strong 5/6 > 4/6 and it’s big prices everything else (that pair and the OMM).

This has never been a track close to my heart and the words of AP McCoy still ring in my ears, “there is heavy ground, and there is Ffos Las heavy ground”….it’s heavy there today and not racing I’ll bet a bean on.

2-00 – SEXY LOT 3/1 > 6/4 and NIKAP 12/1 > 7/1 are the horses for money and I guess the favourite, who boasts CD form, is the most likely winner.

2-35 – LE TUEUR has been very well supported this morning 11/4 > 15/8, the only other runner being nibbled at is DORRANA 14/1 > 9/1….e.w. money that will be. That pair could be worth dutching, if you feel you must bet at Ffos Las.

3-42 – The best supported runner here, by some way, is BORO BABE 16/1 > 15/2. The rest of this field is on the drift so perhaps a 20/80 but you are hoping this horse performs better over a fence as she has done nowt over hurdles.

4-15 – I’m seeing a pair being supported above the others, ROYAL ACT 9/1 > 6/1 and CHAMPION CHASE 16/1 > 15/2…..this is a Class 5 Handicap and the Spotlight Verdict in the Racing Post describes them as, “more speculative options”….imagine being one of those, at this level!

4-45 – Class 5 Conditional Jockeys event and unsurprisingly they are coming for YULONG MAGICREEF 7/1 > 11/2 and that will be purely and simply because it’s an O’Neill horse, ridden by Kevin Brogan, who takes 6lb off and is a stone the best claimer riding anywhere.

Best of luck!
