How brilliant a start was that! The Pontefract Placepot nailed, a dividend of £50.10 to £1 and it’s now a case of, “follow that!!”
I’ve told my subscribed members that today’s racing is simply awful and most definitely I’ll not be looking for a Placepot opportunity today.
What I do have though are three horses, in my list of OMM’s and MMM’s (Overnight and Morning Movers), that I consider “strong” on the tissue so, as it’s shocking stuff and this is “just for fun”, I’ll say let’s go three doubles and a treble:
- REAL TERMS (Wetherby 7-00)
- PAVERS PRIDE (Ayr 6-45)
- MANHATTANVILLE (Wolverhampton 2-55)
These three horses are clearly fancied, the first named making turf/handicap debut for Grant Tuer. That is a yard in good form right now and having opened 10/1 last night, is now as short as 11/4.
PAVERS PRIDE goes in the five runner 6-45pm event and is one of three previous course and distance winners in the race. Paul Midgley did us a turn yesterday with a very easy Pontefract Placepot “banker” and it look like the yard is out to bag another one.
I’m not a fan of all weather racing but we have a “steamer” there this afternoon. You could have got 7/2 about MANHATTANVILLE last night….was 15/8 advised in my members Newsletter this morning….now just 11/10.
A bit of fun, so please keep it that way, don’t get over excited by what happened yesterday and think you’ll never back another loser….you are going to back hundreds of them!
Best of luck!
