For The Fun Punters! 23/06/21

Even when you are punting for fun, it’s still important to know the ground is as you thought it was, before you placed a bet. I have just watched the first race at Salisbury and there is no good to soft at that track, which was the official going description when I worked on that meeting.

Carlisle is producing a steady trickle of non-runners and I will need to see the first race there before I get involved.

Bath is Bath….I never bet at Bath and summer jumpers (Worcester), give me the creeps so today, I’m looking at the all weather meeting at Kempton tonight, for a Placepot.

We have the same problem as that we saw yesterday, in that we kick off with a big field Apprentice race and, if we see a similar result, we’ll be out first ball! With all due respect to some of the kids riding in these races, they cannot race ride and obviously have lots to learn (which they will).

All weather and apprentices races?….purely and simply for The Fun Punters!

I’ve married up the markets to any pronounced draw bias I have spotted and to 50p per line it’ll cost just £3 for a few hours fun…best of luck!
