I’ve got five games today that very much appeal on paper as BBTS/Result fixtures I can trust, with four of them in Division 1 and one from the Championship, a league this week that looks set for some low scoring games if I am not mistaken.
The five games this week are:
- BOURNEMOUTH V BLACKBURN- BTTS @ 9/10, HOME @ 3/4 BTTS/RESULT @ 3/1
This game shows a 70% chance of BTTS, against a league average of just 50%.
Both side are well placed for promotion, sitting second and fourth in the league right now.
The home team has averaged two goals per game in their last five, and Blackburn arrives having not lost in five, winning four of them. They too have scored 10 goals in their last five games.
It looks ready made BTTS/RESULT material and I’ll go home win by 2-1.
- CHARLTON V CAMBRIDGE – BTTS @ 4/5 HOME @ 6/10 BTTS/RESULT @ 12/5
This game presents a 63% chance of BTTS with a league average of 56% and with the home side having won their last four games at home and Cambridge scoring in four of their last five away games, it looks a solid bet.
- CHELTENHAM V LINCOLN – BTTS @ 3/4 HOME @ 7/5 BTTS/RESULT @ 7/2
Here we see a 60% chance of BTTS compared to the 56% average and I have a slight preference for a home win based on current form. Perhaps 2-1 to Cheltenham for anyone liking the 15/2 shout there.
- CREWE V SHEFF WED – BTTS @ 20/23 DRAW @ 11/4 BTTS/RESULT @ 7/2
This dips slightly below the league average of 56% BTTS, at 53% BTTS but whilst Crewe have not conceded a goal at home in the last four and scored in all four, Wednesday arrives unbeaten in their last seven away games and scored eight goals in their last five games. I like the look of a 1-1 draw here.
- FLEETWOOD V GILLINGHAM BTTS @ 4/5 HOME @ 7/10 BTTS/RESULT @ 13/5
A 62% potential BTTS here and with both teams in the bottom four in the league I imagine both side will go for it. Fleetwood have scored in the last four at home and have only failed to find the back of the next twice all season. They have also netted eight in the last five. It has home win wtirren all over it as Gillingham struggle badly when away from home and have lost four of their last five.
The 2-1 score again appeals.
